Any guidance on discounts available for the Smart #1 in the UK? I saw a few posts that referenced already-registered models with minimal mileage.

Arnold Clark have a few pre-reg Smarts north of the border, but you can get them delivered south
They had a sh*t-load of them on Jan 1st, but only have a handful left
I think only Pro+ left , all registered Nov 2023, but with only 50 miles or less on them
They are £9000 off the list price….you won’t do better than that at the moment

My Brabus was from them before they ran out 👍

That's actually the same deal I'm looking at now. £26.7k for the Pro+ model (£9k off list) from Arnold Clark. Seems like a pretty good deal, right? I didn't see any comparable discounts available for any other near-new cars (gas or EV).

Where are you based?

Based in London. Trying to decide between this Smart #1 Pro+ out-right purchase at 26.7k or perhaps even leasing certain models which seem to be on a nice deal now (e.g., Subari Solterra 2 yr lease at 5k miles p.a. for ~9k all-in).

Think AC have got about half a dozen left of the pre-reg Pro+
Honda have a loss-leader deal on e:ny1 worth looking at
Top model is just £6800 total for 2 years. (Think thats 6,000 mpa)
Its a PCP, but you just send it back👍

Applied for a honda e:ny1 base model (elegance) 24 month lease last night actually (199 deposit + 199*24 months = 4,975 total (207 per month all-in).

Doesn't look like the best EV in the world (esp. on range), but for the price it will probably be fine vs. the smart #1 pro+. At least I won't have to deal with potentially selling this in 2-3 years.

The Arnold Clark deal was the only one I found, they've still got some with £9k off list with delivery miles. it was worth the train ride to Perth to pick it up. https://www.arnoldclark.com/nearly-new-cars/smart

Yes a good deal,
They delivered my Brabus from Dundee to Cheshire for £149….it was a no brainer
But you need your wits about you when you deal with them, they’re not known as Arnold Shark for nothing.
