Apparently it's a known issue - the car goes into deep sleep and doesn't respond to the command issued by the charge point.

So you have to use the scheduling in the car.

Someone on the Smart Emotion forum reported that the bug started after OTA 1.3.0 was released, but I'm not sure about that.
