Hi,

I’ve got the Smart #1 Brabus on my shortlist for my new car. Currently have a Merc GLB, which has been brilliant when lugging around the kids strollers and all the rest of the stuff little ones need. Now they are older, we don’t need a massive amount of space in the boot, apart from when we head to France on holiday (every couple of years).

So the question (s) is, can you get a couple of suitcases in the boot? Will moving the back seats forward to create more space cause difficulty with kids (4&7 so no huge rear facing type kids car seats)?

I do plan to take a suitcase along to the local dealership and try fitting it in the boot (and look like a nutter) and also investigate roof boxes for those holiday trips.

Thanks for your time

We took our dog to the Mercedes showroom when we ordered our #1, to make sure he could get in and it wasn't too cramped for him. We even went on a test drive with the dog in the car. So don't feel embarrassed to take a couple of suitcases.

Thanks for the reply. I’ll take my suitcases along tomorrow to check 😄
