Service
A local Merc dealer contacted me recently to say a service is due (at one year old). I understood that services are due every two years, but I do remember that someone on this forum had already had a service where even the wipers were replaced! So, what’s everyone else’s thoughts?
I've had my #1 Premium since Sept 2023. I've done 11.5k miles, and the app says my next service is in 7k miles time, which will probably be around Sept 2025. So yes, 2 years to my 1st service. Maybe it is a variable service interval, where the car decides based upon distance driven, etc.
The first time a Mercedes garage saw my vehicle was a couple of weeks ago when I had to take it in for them to look at the front exterior door handles, which won't retract anymore, and they didn't mention anything about any call-back warranty service action.
I'm currently waiting for the garage to contact me, after they have the replacement handles, to book it in again, at which time I'll see what they say about any warranty actions outstanding.

My car was registered in Nov 23 and I've done around 16000 miles. Last Friday I had a seat belt recall and software patch applied to fix an issue with the front wiper and I just checked in the app, it says service in 107 days or 408km. I'll be booking the service tomorrow and see what SMART say and post an update.
