Problem installing "Hello Smart" android app

Hi there,

just got a #1 Brabus today (1 year old).
Would like to install the android app, but there seems to be a issue.

While going through the installation wizard, it tells me to update the app - but there is no update.
I've given all the permissions (video, pictures, location etc) - but it keeps asking me to update the app - strange.

Restarted the phone, removed the app, installed the app again.

Running Pixel 8, Android 14, all updated, all other app working great.

Any tips ?
ps: I'm located in Denmark.

According to my android (sony xperia) updates history there was an update 5 days ago?

The version number in the app is 1.4.22-2158(5073) if that is of any help, I am in UK though.

Have you tried linking app to car through QR code displayed on infotainment screen?

Thanks - fantastic info.
My app is version 2, and I found the correct app via your version number.

The app is now working, and next step is to activate the car as a new owner.
According to the app, I need to get to the QR-code for activation....but the current QR-code on the screen is for login on bootup.
I can't find how to get this activation screen....

Any tips where to find it ?

When I follow that guide, it skips step 4 (activation page) and goes to the login QR code.

If I scan this page, the phone tells me the QR-code is the login code, and it needs the activation code.
I'm not the first user...I'm the second user :-)

You may have to contact Smart Support to get this issue resolved.

The dealer contacted Smart Support, and after a couple of days, it worked.
