What does this mean?? Red blobs by the side of the road?

I can’t find anything about this in the user manual, well nothing that Is not immediately obvious. When using smart pilot every now and again I get the red blob by the side of the road my passenger managed to take a photograph of it the other day.

From my noticing of it it's almost like hidden dangers at the side of the road in my case like footpaths that emerge from hedgerows etc it doesn't get them all the time though.

I would agree, would be nice to find something in a manual. Driving this car is like playing a video game, with hidden features and levels.

I get the red blobs on the rural roads where I live, in my case it's where foliage is growing over the edge of the road.
