Last night, I watched a YT video from Richard Symons of RSEV. He was reviewing a Volvo EX30, the sister car to our #1. During the video, he pointed out how the plastic frame around the interior mirror is a protective element that is designed to be removed once the car is in use (much like Tesla's it seems). I went out to my #1 Premium and popped it off. Now I have the far better looking frameless mirror! I've only had the car for nine months!
