Is it safe to park an EV in a fuel station? I have to fill a petrol can for my lawnmower. :o

As long as you put it in Airplane mode it should be fine. :D

Yes, very funny. It's a serious question though.

Hello Brixham Boy. What is that especially concerns you about parking your Brabus #1 in a fuel station? If it is fire then don't worry. Your car isn't going to burst into flames. Statistically, there is a far greater chance that an internal combustion engined car will experience a fire. That said, there are around 100 non-deliberate car fires per day in the UK. The total UK fleet is about 33 million cars, so the chance of any kind of vehicle fire is very small. Don't worry about it. I have popped into the filling station to fill up my can for the lawnmower on any number of occasions. It is totally safe.

I do hope that you are enjoying your new car. I'm certainly happy with mine.

I safely managed a trip to the petrol station in mine for the same reason, it did feel odd though
